Why CabIQ
01
Know what is ahead.
CabIQ identifies the next signal along the train's route and displays the remaining along-track distance. On-screen and optional voice alerts provide an additional prompt as the train approaches.
02
Share warnings across the network.
Drivers can report hazards at their current location or place them directly on the map. CabIQ then warns following crews as they approach along the track.
03
Clear speed awareness at a glance.
CabIQ displays the train's current GPS speed alongside the applicable speed limit for the track and direction, helping drivers identify changes without searching through map layers.
04
Designed for corridors with limited coverage.
Downloaded rail data remains available when network coverage drops out. Hazard reports are stored on the device and synchronised automatically when a connection returns.
Available now
CabIQ brings signals, hazards, and essential network information into one clear driver view, with offline-first capability for areas of limited coverage.
Connected by design
RailTec's connected platform is designed to channel relevant information from RailOpsIQ and CivilIQ into CabIQ, giving drivers one clear, location-aware view of what is happening across the railway.
RailOpsIQ
Designed to provide CabIQ with service details, route plans, consist information and relevant operational updates.
CivilIQ
Designed to provide CabIQ with worksite, hazard and field activity data so drivers can be informed before reaching an affected area.
